Stuart J Forbes is Professor of Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine, Edinburgh University. Stuart researches how the severely damaged liver regenerates (http://www.crm.ed.ac.uk/research/group/liver-stem-cells-regeneration

Stuart is Director of (i) The MRC Centre for Regenerative Medicine, Edinburgh University (http://www.crm.ed.ac.uk/) and (ii) the UK wide UKRMP Hub for engineering and exploiting the stem cell niche (http://www.ukrmp.org.uk/hubs/niche/). Stuart is a Hepatologist at the Scottish Liver Transplant Unit, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
